Peterborough's remarkably popular Top Talent Search is back for a second year and continuing in our purpose to discover and promote local talent, and to assist you in:
- Performing in front of live audiences;
- Promoting yourself to potential clients;
- Increasing support from your local communities; and
- Promoting your skills development and personal growth.
Last year you proved that Peterborough is a remarkable breeding ground for artistic talent and this year we have added the main stage at the Little Lake Musicfest -- formerly the Festival of Lights -- as the venue for our Wed August 18, 2010 Grand Finale.

The New Fireworks Fund
Do you miss the fireworks? If so, donate to the NEW Fireworks Fund.
The more money we raise, the more firework displays will return to the Little Lake Musicfest in 2011.
Charitable tax receipt will be issued for all donations $25 or more.

Musicfest Looking for Volunteers for 2009
Are you looking for something fun to do this summer?
Want to give back to your community?
Consider becoming a volunteer with the
Peterborough Little Lake Musicfest!
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals of all ages to help us put on some of the best concerts in the Kawarthas.
Available positions include Park Patrol, Ushers and Guest Relations.
Performances begin on Saturday, June 20 and run every Wednesday and Saturday evening until Saturday, August 22,
so if you have a night or two to spare this summer and want to help out, we would love to have you with us at Del Crary Park.

"Come On Get Happy" At The Little Lake Musicfest this Summer!
FREE concerts in the park (will) continue this summer thanks to the generous financial support of local business, private donors and 3 levels of government. Despite challenging economic times the Peterborough Little Lake Musicfest (will) present it’s concerts for the entire family in Del Crary Park on the edge of Little Lake in downtown Peterborough.
Musicfest is excited to announce four confirmed acts as part of this summer’s entertainment line-up. To kick off the season we welcome David Cassidy, star of the hit TV show, The Partridge Family, performing Saturday June 20th. Our second show of the season is none other than the legendary Buffy Sainte Marie. Thanks to the partnership of Ode’min Giizis Musicfest, Buffy will be returning to the Fred Anderson stage. All those rockers out there will be thrilled to know 54-40 has been invited to perform on Saturday July 18. Lastly, the Musicfest is happy to welcome back mutil-Juno nominated local artist Serena Ryder.
In other exciting Musicfest news, March 20, 2009 will be our fundraiser concert, starring Jim Witter in The Piano Men (tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel), at the Trentwinds International Center on Lansdowne Street. Musicfest is looking for the support of the community to attend our event! Money raised at this concert will go directly towards continuing to bring phenomenal acts such as Jim Witter to the Fred Anderson stage for many years. Tickets are now on sale for $20 each or $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased by cash or cheque at City Hall, the Musicfest Office, and CHEX Television or through Paypal online at www.littlelakemusicfest.ca Great prizes to be raffled off, including Bruce Springsteen tickets, compliments of The Wolf 101.5 FM as well as a Central Air Conditioner, compliments of Tom’s Heating & Cooling. Come on out and enjoy a fabulous evening with Jim Witter a Musicfest favorite for over five years!

Musicfest Partners Help to Make 2008 Season Great!
The Peterborough Summer Musicfest of Lights thanks the fantastic Marketing Partners that helped to make 2008 such a memorable season.
Because of the generosity of these 86 local businesses and organizations, the Musicfest was able to present such artists as Murray McLauchlan, Ron Sexsmith, Jason Blaine and Sweet as well as great culturally diverse entertainment like Black Umfolosi and the Kruger Brothers.
Each summer, more than 140,000 community members and visitors to Peterborough and the Kawarthas visit Del Crary Park in beautiful downtown Peterborough to enjoy the free-admission entertainment.
